Service Manager & Counsellor
BMus (Hons) Performance
Having graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music in 2018, my keen interest in psychology, philosophy and individual mental wellbeing saw me embark on a slight career change as I began an MSc in Pluralistic Counselling at Abertay University.
I have a particular interest in Jungian psychology, Christian theology and existential philosophies, some of which I draw upon within my therapeutic approach. Similarly, I believe strongly in client agency and collaborating with a client's preferences to arrive at a desired outcome.
I thrive on helping clients to navigate the particular difficulties of their journey.
In addition to my role as a counsellor, I am privileged to work in as the Service Manager, overseeing IT, administration, fundraising, HR and project management.
Concurrently with my work at Hope Counselling, I am also the Director of Music for the University of Dundee where I support students and staff to create high-quality music performances throughout the year.
