Online and Telephone Counselling

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, people have become more accustomed to working remotely.  We recognise that remote working, either by video call or by telephone, can be much more accessible for some people. As a result, each of our counsellors continues to offer counselling on these platforms.

If whatever reason attending sessions in-person is not comfortable or convenient for you, we are happy to offer remote sessions. There are a few things to consider when opting for this type of therapy.

Firstly, counselling relies on providing a safe and confidential space away from the rest of the world. Sometimes this can be difficult to attain if you're attending a call from home with your family near by. It might be worth scheduling a time where you know things will be private and free from interruption.

Finally, it can sometimes be unsettling or frustrating to lose connection mid-session. Technology can be tempermental sometimes, but it might be worth considering phone signal and internet connection when arranging for an online session.
