BSc (Hons) Psychology and Counselling
currently studying: Dip Integrative Counselling

I am in my final year of study on the Diploma in Integrative Counselling at Vital Connexions. I hold a BSc (Hons) Psychology and Counselling from Abertay University and currently work at Alternatives Counselling and Listening Rooms and NHS Tayside supporting children and young people. When I am not working or studying, I enjoy volunteering at Girls’ Brigade, exercising at gym, playing basketball and spending time with family and friends.
I have been keen to pursue a career which involved helping others and feel my personality aligned well with counselling. I am passionate about helping others reach their full potential and forming trusting therapeutic relationships. I believe through listening to stories in a safe and non-judgemental space can help us create a better understanding of ourselves and how we can make positive changes in our lives.
I have a background in supporting those who have experienced challenges to their wellbeing such as: sexual abuse/violence, and pregnancy loss.
