I believe every individual deserves an opportunity to be listened to and understood and hope this is something I can provide in my role as a counsellor. I counsel using the Integrative model, which means I use various therapeutic approaches to make counselling tailored to each individual’s needs and create lasting change. I recently qualified as an Integrative Counsellor and alongside being a Counsellor at Hope, I also work in support-based roles with young people at Alternatives and NHS Tayside.
I am passionate about helping others reach their full potential and forming trusting therapeutic relationships. I believe that being listened to in a safe and non-judgemental space, can help clients can find a better understanding of themselves and of how to make positive changes in their lives.
I have a background in supporting those who have experienced challenges to their wellbeing such as: sexual abuse/violence, and pregnancy loss.
