What we do
We do one to one counselling and couple counselling. Our counsellors provide a confidential, non-judgemental, and safe space to discuss the difficulties and challenges which affect your life.
Sometimes you may feel stuck or unsure of which way to go. We help you explore possibilities and gain new insight and perspectives. We don’t tell you what to do but stay alongside you on your journey of discovery and support you as you find yourself able to make changes in what you think and what you do.
Situations that we can help you with include; anxiety and depression, stress, illness, abuse, relationship problems, loss and bereavement, trauma, unresolved issues, lifestyle problems, low self-esteem and low confidence, Asperger’s syndrome and autistic spectrum disorder, and spiritual issues.
We understand that everyone is different, so we use an Integrative method of counselling which combines the approaches of Person-Centred Counselling, Psychodynamic Counselling, and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) allowing a flexible approach and tailoring sessions to suit clients’ needs. We invite clients with faith to include spiritual beliefs and experiences in their counselling discussions.
In order to give the best help we are unable to work with clients who are currently receiving counselling or psychotherapy from another service.
